The project “Via Caeli” of Bitjamin the context of the The National Strategic plan for the Air Mobility Advanced, represents an innovative initiative that aims to improve the urban transport through the use of drones-autonomous. The goal is to create a corridor of safe flight by exploiting the natural path of a river, specifically the Tiberwhich crosses the city of Rome.
The idea of using the river Tiber is inspired by the practices of the ancient Rome, when the river was the main artery for the transport of goods. In the case of Via Caelithis air corridor will follow the course of the river, facilitating the transport of small loads quickly and safely, reducing the impact on the road traffic and promoting a more sustainable mobility and intelligent.
