Farmachat Point to redefine the role of the pharmacy, transforming it into a hub for access to video consultations with doctors.
A key element of the project is the ability to make consult with any doctor, accessible even to people who live in areas particularly disadvantaged, as the areas affected by the earthquake in the Center of Italy, where the direct access to the health care facilities may be compromised or difficult.
Pharmacies, already prepared for basic health services such as the detection of pressure, or performing pads are the ideal place to introduce dedicated workstations to consult doctors remotely. These spaces, which are designed to be comfortable and easily accessible, ensure privacy and security, thanks to advanced technologies that allow drug medical effective and simple for the user.
Pharmacies become so real and true principals of health in support of the local community, offering a range of essential services without the need to travel long distances.
The characteristics of Space
The form of Farmachat Point will be characterized by:
- Acoustic insulation to ensure privacy.

Service features
The service of medical consultation provides:
- Booking via a dedicated app or directly with the pharmacist.

- Reading and monitoring of the values of biometric through an app.
The goal is to create a functional environment and proximity, where users are able to access specialist visits that are required to start diagnostic paths, or to monitor the progress of your health. The station will be equipped with diagnostic tools that can be used independently or with the assistance of a pharmacist.

The integrated software provides a system for subtitling and translation in real time, in addition to the digitization of paper documents. All the information will be available in multiple languages, and video consultations will be recorded to be shared with family members or doctors.
Future developments
Farmachat Cloud will collect all the data points consulting, enabling the configuration of the devices and providing a dashboard for the management of information. Among the developments for the potential it provides for the collection of health data spatial and loyalty to specific pharmacies.

The project includes the involvement of strategic partners such as, for example, the association of pharmacists, Federfarma, companies booking of medical services and those already engaged in services and tools health innovations such as IBM, Hp, Konica Minolta, etc., with the goal of expanding access to health services.
